Well many things happened in this couple of few months and various events took place. But there was one phenomenal time where till it was time to hit the grave, I would not ever forget it.
It was the time I first met her.
Days were looking ordinary and for some reason i couldn't really recall what happened back then but all i knew was that I stayed up late to finish something. Nothing else left to do, I head for bed. I do remember clearly that i received 3 text messages in the middle of the night and that the latest or should i say "earliest" one i received was at 4 something am by Leroy Yeow asking me a favor whether i was free or not to fetch his friends from Sentral as there were lack of transportations. Without much awareness reading that message, i put my phone down again. Next morning i woke up, i thought of the message again, So i read it again and without giving it a second thought, I agreed to what he had suggested since the day he brings his friends down was the week i'm having my holidays. And I've got nothing planned so I thought why not?
Twas the day that Leroy and his friends arrive, I was driving back from my campus. Almost reaching home , i found that the temperature of my car went absurdly high. I felt something was wrong and i stopped my car by the roadside. Seeking help from my Sis's bf , I sent my car to a workshop to get it done.I sent a message to Leroy Yeow apologizing to him that my car broke down but he said it was okay. I thought that I wouldn't be able to join him and his friends anymore.I was a little bit in despair but fortunately, the car was able to be repaired in time so I called Leroy whether I could still join him. He told me to meet up with him at McQuack's Satay Celup for dinner / supper.So i called Goh asking whether he wants to join me meeting up with his friends, Goh agreed and since my Car hasn't been collected yet, Goh gave me a ride to collect my car and we head to the designated place shortly after that.
Upon my arrival, I was laughing my way out as I saw Leroy and his friends sitting there on a rounded table. (Yes it was not funny, I was kinda nervous). Goh and I awkwardly marched into the table and greeted Leroy first as we do not know his friends. Leroy then introduced his friends to us , Since most of them were speaking Mandarin.We bravely told them to regard us as Bananas as we do not really know how to speak Mandarin :P. When most of them started to take their ingredients to stuff in the hot peanut sauce, I remembered Jayn, Mx and Cheu Hwa were still sitting there. I kinda suggested them to take the ingredients in Mandarin and they were shocked as I was speaking to them in Mandarin . It was funny at that time to see their reactions (Especially Cheu Hwa's :P)
Not long after, we managed to arrive at their apartment with some complications on the road. Me and Goh didn't stay up late as we had Muet the next day (I GOT BAND 4 T_T). Straight after the tiring MUET day, we went Wok and Pan to have our lunch. But someone was missing as she went DP to meet up with her NS friend (Erhem). So we went back to the apartment and rested for awhile as it was jading being out the whole day. Someone came back after that =). After resting long enough , we decided to head to Portuguese Settlement to have our dinner . The outrageous smoke coming out from the Kitchen mostly affected us all to indulge our meal.We then went to Jonker Walk to have a stroll. Cheu Hwa tricked me and had me good at that time with the umbrella thingy.I was completely oblivious about it ~_~. She burst into laughters for quite awhile.We then planned to sing in a k-box but because it was a weekend, many rooms were fully booked. Not knowing what to do, We told leroy and reached to a consensus to go back to the apartment. Driving in Jetty at that time was momentous. I was rallying my way back to the apartment with a detour of stopping by at Seven-Eleven. Leroy was worried and concerned of our tardiness and admonished us to get back as soon as possible as it was quite late.Without delay I headed back there.
Originally we thought we wouldn't stay by long and planned to head back around 1,2 or 3. But someone (sorry I couldn't recall) suggested why not we stay over and continue the day with them? Thinking deeply for quite awhile, we agreed to his/her suggestion. Since the night was still young , we played a game called "Heart Attack" ( Was it?) with the playing cards. This was where the fun began, since we did not know how the game really works , we were briefed by them and started getting the hang of it once we tried it out. It was truly humorous and exhilarating especially seeing Jayn's reaction towards the game. Hahaha. And so we wrapped our day with the" Killer game ", At first it was really confusing to me , but I managed to grasp the concept after a few tries. It was fun putting up poker faces and seeing everyone's observation and deduction in determining the Killer =).
Everyone , unable to resists the fatigue, hugged the bed with the exception of a few us still loitering around (Still being excited). Me and Goh were still up awake with a few them ( I couldn't remember correctly). Me being restless, was trying to find something to do while Goh was resting on the sofa with musics plugged in.
This was the time where she took her laptop and headed for the balcony. I carefully slided the door (Trying not to wake people up) and wanted to enjoy the scenery when she invited me for a chat. We conversed in Mandarin most of the time and she did most of the talking because my mind wasn't functioning well and I didn't know what to say :X. It was also my first time staying up that "early" chatting with someone =).
It was then that I confirmed something special about her :P.
After that we began checking out and we captured a few shots before heading back to our respective places.^-^
I'm really grateful and happy to be able to meet them , Another piece of memory is embedded in my heart.
I never regret being able to know them , and I hope someday we could go for a trip together again :)
